have teamed up to create an epic, once-in-a-lifetime, journey to Alaska!

Upon meeting in Seattle, WA, we will set out on the adventure of a lifetime as we travel the legendary Alaskan Highway through Canada and into the wilds of Fairbanks, Denali, and the Kenai Peninsula. This adventure is for all who have dreamed of seeing this expansive state for themselves. Individuals, couples, and families are all invited to join us as we visit Hot Springs, Nature Preserves, National Parks, Wilderness areas and more! Expect to be awed and enchanted as we travel together, exploring the beauty found in this great Wilderness!

Keep reading to the bottom for even more exciting news!

From Seattle, we cross into Canada and head off to the beginning of the Alaskan Highway at Dawson Creek. Along the way we will visit the Hot Springs at Harrison, and later on at Chena and Manley. As we continue on our journey, we will have stops in locations such as the Kluane National Park, the St. Elias Ice Fields, and the Tetlin National Wildlife Reserve before crossing the Alaska/Canada border at Tok and heading towards Fairbanks, AK. After Fairbanks, we will visit Denali, then Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula.

Along the way, you will have opportunities for kayaking, rafting, soaking in hot springs, bird and wildlife viewing, hiking, fishing, and climbing. In the evenings, we will come together sharing meals, music, storytelling, and community.

This will be an extraordinary trip with adventuresome, like-minded people. You will make new friends, travel in the safety of a group, enjoy group discounts and experience nature like never before!

Sacred Escapades is a travel company that creates adventures which go beyond the traditional. We are in search of our own connection to the beauty of the natural world and are committed to sharing that beauty with others. This won’t be your usual tourist trip, although we may visit some well-known stops, we are always on the lookout for locations that speak to the spirit, drawing us in to a deeper connection with ourselves and the Divine.

American Teardrop is our sponsor and a premier builder of custom teardrops, located in beautiful Auburn California. From your first contact with them, you will work together with their creative and knowledgeable staff to build the teardrop of your dreams! From the moment we met them we knew that their approach, craftsmanship, and commitment to their product would be a perfect match with our travel dreams!

(*note: having a teardrop is not a requirement for this trip, you can bring whatever size rig – or tent – that you are comfortable with. Also, there may be a few American Teardrops available to rent.)

There are a number of different options with this trip. Sacred Escapades will be traveling for a total of two months, however, if this is a long trip for you (we understand that two months can be a long time to step away from your life) you can choose to leave us in Homer and catch the ferry on the Inside Passage.
